Magdalena Łazarczyk
Magdalena Łazarczyk (b. 1985, Białystok, Poland) is involved in film, photography, collages and installations. She deals with the subject of human relations with the surrounding world, and is interested in the distance between a sign, an object and its notion, function and place in the system. Łazarczyk is inspired by the world of things. A graduate of photography at the University of Arts in Poznań (2013) and Mirosław Bałka’s Studio of Spatial Activities at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2015). Together with Łukasz Sosiński, she runs ROD — Realny Obszar Działań [Real Activity Area] — an artist-run-space in the Family Allotment Gardens in Warsaw. She lives and works in Warsaw.
