Mediation
From the very beginning, the cultural mediation programme has been one of the most important aims of the Art Encounters Foundation, and the young and adult public benefits from this program of guided tours, courses and meetings dedicated to debating the phenomenon of contemporary art. These include: courses for children by age categories, guided tours of exhibitions, introductory courses to contemporary art for adults, themed tours, creative workshops for families with children, as well as a newspaper dedicated to Art Encounters Biennial 2021. The mediation programme is organised in partnership with Contrasens Cultural Association.

stART – LOOK, LISTEN, THINK, organized by the Contrasens Cultural Association, is a cultural education and cultural mediation programme designed for the adult public (35-65 + years old) meant to make people with history, profiles, interests and needs diverse, “hard to reach” or “easy to reach”, but who forget to include contemporary art, events, spaces and cultural institutions in their daily life, to find value and relevance in art for personal growth and development. START = because it is never too late to learn something new and especially because we encourage and support the continuing education of adults; stART = as an abbreviation of Art Street; Look at the art and think. Listen because it refers to active listening, which is part of the process of dialogue and the process of doing many active thinking exercises.
