Konrad Jarodzki

Konrad Jarodzki (b. 1927, Zaklików, Poland) lives and works in Wrocław. From 1949 to 1955 he studied at the Faculty of Architecture at the Wrocław University of Technology, from 1955 to 1958 at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Wrocław under the guidance of Eugeniusz Geppert. is a painter and draughtsman, member of the “Wrocław Group”. He is fascinated with light and movement. He uses repetitive rhythmic sequences that wind serpentinously: the cycles “Penetrations and Space”. Since 1967 he has been a lecturer at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Wrocław, then the rector of this university in 1984 and in the years 1992-1999.
