Fabien Giraud & Raphaël Siboni
Fabien Giraud (b. 1980) and Raphaël Siboni (b. 1981) live and work in Paris, France. They form a duo of artists whose practice explores possible worlds and alternative narratives of past, present and future times. Films, but also sculptures, performative devices and installations, make up an ambitious body of work that tirelessly questions the powers and limits of technology. Fabien Giraud and Raphaël Siboni met while studying at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (ENSAD) and began to collaborate when they moved to Le Fresnoy (Studio national des arts contemporains) in 2007. Their work has been exhibited at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, at the Casino in Luxembourg, at Mona in Tasmania and at the 13th edition of the Lyon Biennial in 2016. In 2020, they have presented the exhibition INFANTIA (1894-7231) at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Villeurbanne/Rhône-Alpes.
