Kasper Bosmans

Kasper Bosmans (b.1990, Lommel, Belgium) lives and works between Brussels and Amsterdam. A graduate of Higher Institute for Fine Arts in Ghent (Belgium), Kasper Bosmans is internationally known as one of the most promising artists of his generation. His practice, capable of embracing universal themes that escape the categories of time and space, uses a symbolic language, made up of signs and gestures that refer to a historical past and present, and act as tools for decoding reality. His work has been exhibited in Europe and abroad, in galleries and institutions. Recent solo exhibitions include: Wolf Corridor, De Pont Museum, Tilburg (2021), Kasper Bosmans: A Perfect Shop-front, Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro, Milan (2021), Kasper Bosmans: Four, Gladstone 64, New York (2020), Kasper Bosmans – Project Room #13, Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro, Milan (2020), Kunstintegratie Kasper Bosmans (In Frascati): Papegaaistraat, Ghent (2018), De Veemarkt, Stad Lommel, Lommel (2018), Das Verflixte 7. Jahr Fuerstenberg Zeitgenossich, Donaueschingen (2018), Chip Log, Gladstone Gallery, New York (2018), The Worlds and Days, De Hallen, Haarlem (2017), Model Garden, Gladstone Gallery, Brussels (2016) and Specimen Days, S.M.A.K, Ghent (2016).

In 2020, the editor Walther König published Dovetail, the first monograph dedicated to the artist.
